Product Description

Schering Bridge

Schering Bridge is used to measure the unknown value of Capacitance. The instrument has following inbuilt parts fitted in ABS Plastic Case.

AC Source:The Bridge consist of Sine wave signal of 1KHZ. The Amplitude of AC switch indicating lamp is provided on the bakelite board. Two sockets are provided for the output of AC signals.

Detector:For detecting small AC signals in the output, Null Detector is in-built with digital display .

Circuit Diagram:The circuit layout on the board is quite spread out to facilitate convenient working & clear understanding. 4mm socket are provided for making connections.

  • R1 --- Three decade resistance dials having value 10, 1000W, 10-100W and10, 10W
  • R2 ---- Two fixed standard resistances having value 1000 ohm & 100 ohms.
  • R3 ---- Single decade resistance dial having value 10-100W.
  • C1 ---- Unknown capacitor.
  • C2 ---- Fixed standard capacitor having value 0.01mf (loss free)
  • C3 ---- Single decade capacitance dial having value 10, 0.001mf.

Exceptional Measurement Versatility and Sensitivity

The Schering Bridge offers a comprehensive measurement range, capable of testing capacitance from 10 pF to 1 F and insulation resistance up to 20 G. With a detector sensitivity better than 1 V and low noise output terminals, precise and reliable measurements are achieved across various applications. Its rapid charging time and balance indicator ensure swift and accurate readings every time.

Robust Design with Safety Compliance

Engineered for durability, the instrument features a mild steel enclosure with a powder-coated finish, ensuring long-term resilience in laboratory and industrial settings. The compact, modular design makes it suitable for tabletop usage, while full compliance with IS and IEC safety norms guarantees operator safety and equipment reliability during intensive testing routines.

Ideal for Laboratory, Quality Control, and R&D

This bridge is tailored to meet the needs of educators, researchers, and quality control professionals. The direct and substitution bridge balance methods facilitate efficient and low-loss testing processes. By providing comprehensive accessories, including test leads, a manual, and a calibration certificate, the product is set to deliver dependable performance straight out of the box.
