Product Description

CRO Trainer 10 MHz

The Signal Beam CRO Trainer Kit Model has been specially designed for easy evaluation and rational customer service with its simple controls and large screen. Its special features include, among others simple voltage measurement, exact synchronisation and simple time base switching for the major frequencies. The instrument utilises a 130 mm cathode ray tube. An externally fitted graticule marked in Cm and shade plate facilitates an easy and glare free wave form observation. The oscilloscope can be used for the observation of general waveforms and testing and adjustment of amplifiers. and T. V. receivers. It is extremely simple to operate and the front panel has functionally integrated through sophisticated hybrid circuitry. The complete wiring is done on Coloured printed board which are divided into various COLOR BLOCKS for different Sections. Since the majority of the circuitry is transistorised, little heat is generated and power consumption is reduced to a minimum. FAULTS are generated in different sections. Total no of FAULTS are 17

Comprehensive Dual Channel Functionality

Featuring two vertically independent input channels (Y1 & Y2), the CRO Trainer 10 MHz allows simultaneous observation and comparison of electronic signals. Its fine-tuned sensitivity helps users analyze low and high voltage signals with precision, making it a valuable asset for trainers and students alike in understanding complex circuit behavior.

Versatile Operation with Multiple Sweep Modes

The oscilloscope includes automatic, normal, and single sweep modes, enhancing its adaptability for different test scenarios. Users can select the most appropriate mode to capture and analyze both repetitive and single-shot events, making it suitable for both dynamic and static signal evaluations in classrooms or laboratories.

Robust and Portable for Educational Setups

Built with a compact metal casing and weighing approximately 2.5 kg, this CRO Trainer is easy to transport and store. Its durability ensures longevity under frequent classroom use, while the CRT display provides clear and precise visualization of measured signals. The package includes all necessary accessories to get started with immediate usage.

FAQs of CRO Trainer 10 MHz:

Q: How can the CRO Trainer 10 MHz be used effectively in educational settings?

A: The CRO Trainer 10 MHz is designed for hands-on training, allowing students to visualize, measure, and analyze electronic signals. Instructors can utilize its dual channel and various trigger modes to demonstrate waveform properties and circuit behaviors in real-time.

Q: What is the process of using the test signal output for calibration?

A: To use the test signal output for calibration, connect one of the supplied probes to the Test Signal Output terminal and another to a vertical input. The 1 kHz, 1 Vpp signal helps adjust the probe compensation and verify oscilloscope accuracy, ensuring precise readings during experiments.

Q: When is it appropriate to select auto, normal, or single sweep modes?

A: Auto mode is suited for continuously varying signals, normal mode is best for capturing non-periodic events, and single mode allows users to capture and analyze one-time transient signals. Selection depends on the nature of your experiment or demonstration.

Q: Where can this CRO Trainer be sourced from?

A: This CRO Trainer 10 MHz is available from multiple Indian suppliers as it is manufactured, exported, and provided by companies specializing in educational laboratory equipment across India. Contact local authorized exporters or traders for procurement.

Q: What benefits does the dual channel input offer to users?

A: Dual channel inputs allow users to observe and compare two independent signals simultaneously. This feature is particularly beneficial for analyzing phase relationships, comparing circuit outputs, or observing multiple test points in an experiment.

Q: How portable and durable is the CRO Trainer 10 MHz?

A: Thanks to its sturdy metal casing and light weight of approximately 2.5 kg, this oscilloscope is easy to transport between classrooms or laboratories. Its compact design and robust build ensure consistent performance even with frequent handling.
